What should I do if I got the Dengue fever?

  • Release Unit:Department of Public Health

In addition to getting treatment, you should protect yourself from mosquitoes, especially in the first 5 days after the onset of Dengue. You should install door & window screens, or use a mosquito net while you sleep. Since the infected mosquitoes may be around Dengue patients, it's required for you to report your travel history, or places you've been to 2 weeks prior to and 1 week after getting Dengue fever. If chemical controls against adult mosquitoes are deemed necessary, please make sure to follow the instructions by epidemic prevention specialists.
