Applicant Qualifications
Comply with all of the following criteria
Registered in Taoyuan City
•Between the ages of 7-65
•Citizens without senior citizen card, disabled card, student card and member card.
•Registered in the city as foreign or mainland, Hong Kong and Macau spouse of citizens (Who have R.O.C. resident certificate and whose spouse registered as Taoyuan citizens)
※Foreign spouse registers only general card regardless of age
Registration counters:
•Every District Office (Citizen Card registration time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
•City Public Library of 12 district branches (Taoyuan branch, Zhongli branch, Pingzhen branch, Bade branch, Daxi branch, Yangmei branch, Luzhu branch, Guishan branch, Dayuan branch, Longtan branch, Xinwu branch, Guanyin branch), and Fuxing district library. Service hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
•City government citizen card joint service window on the 1st floor at Taoyuan City Government (9:00AM to 12:00PM, 1:00PM to 4:00PM), other time please go to Taoyuan district office and city libraries for registration
•Online Registration (Citizen Digital Certificate Required)
Documents Required
•Register in person: ID card and 2-inch color photo in front, uncap and half-length that is no more than six months or be photographed on the spot.
•Commission others to register: trustee should bring the commission registration form (signed or stamped by applicant) and ID cards of both parties’.
•Foreign spouse registered in the city :
(1)Possess valid R.O.C. resident certificate (original)
(2)Spouse’s ID card, household certificate, or household certificate transcription is required.
(3)Applied at the counter of citizen card registration (over-the-counter location)
